Description

As long as I can remember I had an obsession with wolves. As a young kid I started to collect every picture and article about wolves I could find, read every book, wrote essays about wolves for myself and in every corner of my bedroom there were posters and wolf figurines.

And then there was Tumblr, so here goes.

Red wolf, Canis Rufus

Around the year 1980, the red wolf was basically extinct. Since 1987 many rescue operations has started started, which leaded to a reasonably healthy population of approximately 50 red wolves in North Carolina. If there are enough red wolves again, they will live like normal wolves, in packs.
